I just turned 30 years old. Yay! Happy birthday to myself =)
It’s been at least 15 years now that I don’t eat meat on my birthday. A few reasons apart from the obvious one (just don’t want to celebrate my life with death); actually I want to keep my birthday very low profile with minimal celebration. I am happy to have just simple breads and salad you know!
This year was the only time I hosted a birthday party in the past 30 years. Simply because I read it somewhere that, “do not let any milestone uncelebrated”. A night with my closest friends and family together wouldn’t it be nice?
I must say that it was one of the best nights ever! Thank you everyone for showing up and showering me with kindness. Although I had explicitly mentioned not to bring any gifts, some friends still got me very thoughtful gifts. It was a night with most of my favorite people and things in life! We had rainbow, fireworks, sunset, full moon, Marina Bay.. any arrangement better than this would be my 40th or wedding haha!
